Viknesh Selvanathan

A self driven and motivated lawyer with undoubted and undying passion and commitment for the law and the work undertaken. Possessing 2 decades of experience in civil litigation disputes including employment and industrial relations disputes. Established and founded the law firm "VIKNESH" in the year 2013 before co-founding VIKNESH & YAP or “VY” in 2016 transcending from a sole proprietorship to partnerships with an ever-growing presence since. Have represented various corporations, including multinational companies and listed companies and its board of directors in various corporate disputes, contract negotiations and discussions, settlement negotiations and other related matters. Able to render practical advice and provide pragmatic approach and solutions to clients and always providing out-of-the-box strategies in dealing with complex legal matters and cases. Has extensive experience in drafting, vetting and rendering advice on corporate and commercial agreements including IT related agreements and also represents and assists start ups. On a personal level, a very friendly and down to earth person who likes to meet new people and is an honest and sincere person who appreciates and value true friendship. Viknesh is a proud Malaysian and likes to have “teh tariks” at Mamaks with friends and appreciates the occasional sips of single malt whiskies. Bhd.; 3) Legal Advisor to the Mont Kiara Residence Association (MKReA) (previously known as Mont Kiara Community Society or "MKCS"; 4) Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Bukit Damansara or "RCDH".
