Jerry Chong is CTO at LinkUp Smart Solutions and Master of Engineering Management (IMEM) alumni at Tsinghua University. He is a technology enthusiast with strong interests in Internet of Things (IoT), Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Digital Payments, IT Governance, IT Security and Project Management. He has more than 6 years of professional working experiences in design and develop secured end-to-end cloud IT and IoT applications for Forbes Global 500 clients across multiple industries including consulting, finance, insurance, oil & gas (O&G), pharmaceutical and healthcare. He is also a Full Stack Engineer specialized in building mobile and web apps as well as certified in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Terraform, Aviatrix and Fortinet. Asides from being technology focus, he is also a valuable team player and critical thinker for involvement of complex engineering projects. During his free time, he works on Open-Source Project (OSS), and act as OpenStreetMap Map Editor to help local communities within Malaysia. Previously he also volunteered as Industry Mentor of Data Analytics Consultancy Network (DACN) and Secretary of a NGO with more than 2000 residents on solving and dealing daily community issues for better life.
